May frosts in ten regions

Belgorod, Voronezh, Volgograd, Kursk, Lipetsk, Penza, Rostov, Saratov and Tambov oblasts and the "Luhansk People's Republic" (as named in the Government Commission's decision) · May 2024

In May 2024 frosts damaged crops and orchards in ten regions; MChS put the damage to farm producers at 21.9 billion roubles. On 7 June 2024 the Government Commission classed the situation as a federal emergency.
