Military An-26 crash at Hmeimim air base

Hmeimim air base, Latakia province, Syria · 6 Mar 2018

On 6 March 2018 a Russian military An-26 transport aircraft crashed on approach to Hmeimim air base in Syria. According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, as reported by RIA Novosti, all 39 people on board died.
