Armed attack in Grozny

On the night of 4 December 2014 armed men killed three traffic police officers in central Grozny and were then cornered in the Press House and a school building; a 'counter-terrorist operation' (Interior Ministry's term) was under way in the city. According to the Russian Interior Ministry, 14 police officers died.
